We’re thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2024 Reading Everywhere Summer Action Grants! These grants support innovative and impactful literacy programs across Oakland, fostering a love for reading and learning among children and families. Join us in celebrating their efforts and find out how you can get involved!
These grants support a diverse array of literacy programs across Oakland, providing resources for school supplies, summer camps, book clubs, and family literacy initiatives to foster a love for reading in the community.
The first round of 25 projects receiving action grants includes the following:
