We regularly convene the field to learn, collaborate, elevate what’s working, and strategize solutions to better support students’ reading success.

Coalition convenings follow a three-month cycle to explore a quarterly learning theme or content area from different angles and with diverse audiences.

Month 1 – IN CONVERSATION

IN CONVERSATION forums introduce the quarterly learning theme based on a critical topic, relevant trend, or new research impacting literacy. Forums are free to attend and open to all.

Month 2 – IN TRAINING

IN TRAINING workshops invite our members to dig deeper into the theme with professional development and tools/resources to support their programming with students. Non-members are often able to join on a fee-basis.

Month 3 – IN ACTION

IN ACTION sessions create space for members to collaborate and provide mutual accountability and support in adopting best practice models for education and engagement.

Literacy & Justice For All Symposium

Each fall, we host our annual Literacy & Justice For All Symposium to bring educators, nonprofit literacy providers, community leaders, and other literacy stakeholders together to learn, collaborate, elevate what’s working, and strategize what more is needed to ensure our students learn and love to read.
