Springboard Collaborative coaches teachers and family members to help their kids read on grade-level. We envision a world in which all children have the requisite literacy skills to access life opportunities.

Literacy Programs

Springboard offers summer (5-week) and afterschool (10-week) intensive programs that combine daily reading instruction for for Pre-K through 3rd graders; weekly workshops training parents to teach reading at home; a rigorous coaching cycle for teachers; and an incentive structure that awards learning tools to families in proportion to student reading gains. We contract with OUSD to host our programs at various elementary schools through out the district.
