The Oakland Literacy Coalition is looking to support community groups serving preschool to high school-aged children.
Oakland organizations can receive up to $500 and a trove of children's books from the OLC for new programs that promote reading.

The 2025 Literacy and Justice for All Symposium, sponsored by the Oakland Literacy Coalition, brought together literacy leaders from across the state to discuss research, advocacy, and opportunities to collaborate to improve literacy outcomes for all students.
