We are happy to announce our first round of 2018 Summer Reading Mini Grants recipients!

This cycle of our Summer Reading mini grants funded through Oakland Reads was our largest yet. In our first round of funding we awarded over $20,000 to 27 different summer elementary and preschool programs, community based organizations, and faith-based organizations. A second round of Summer Reading Mini Grants recipients will be updated shortly.
