Winter Volunteer Training Series
The Oakland Literacy Coalition will be offering our Winter Volunteer Training Series for literacy volunteers working with Oakland preschool and elementary students this January. TB testing and Live Scan fingerprinting will be provided on site for free for volunteers (of participating organizations) who need to complete these clearances.

Who?
- OLC member organizations with volunteers serving in Oakland. (Learn more about joining our member network here)
- Oakland elementary and preschools (with an emphasis on preschool-3rd grade) whose volunteers are supporting literacy and reading activity and programs are invited to register as well.
Registration:
Volunteers will only be able to register through their literacy program’s Volunteer Coordinator. Registration is not open to the general public.
Literacy organizations: Please use the link below to request your organization’s participation in the January Volunteer Training Series by January 5th. Additional information and individual volunteer registration details will follow once your request is received. The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes. In the meantime, please encourage your volunteers to save the date.
