Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of Oakland students?
The Oakland Literacy Coalition offers the Volunteer Training Series twice a year to help make volunteering accessible for everyone by providing training along with affordable and easy TB testing and Live Scan fingerprinting. These services are available in one convenient place and at no cost to attendees!
The Volunteer Training Series are available to participating organizations in our Member Network and Oakland schools. For questions about eligibility and joining our Member Network contact Sanam Jorjani at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Oakland organizations whose volunteers serve PreK-5th grade and support literacy are eligible to enroll. Organizations working with parents and parent volunteers who support early literacy may be eligible.
Volunteers should contact their Volunteer Coordinator to find out if they are a participating organizations.
Participation information will be made available to our Member Network in late summer.
