Family engagement always makes a difference
When parents and caregivers are involved, students achieve more, regardless of socioeconomic status, ethnic/racial background, or the parents’ education level.
Students with engaged families have stronger academic outcomes
When parents and caregivers are involved in their students’ education, those students have higher grades and test scores, better attendance, and complete homework more consistently.
Family engagement matters throughout a student's schooling
The benefits of involving families are not confined to the early years—there are significant gains at all ages and grade levels.
