Join us on March 7-8, 2025 in downtown Oakland, for the Literacy and Justice for All Symposium, a transformative conference where literacy, equity, and social justice take center stage.
This year’s lineup features two dynamic keynote speakers:
- Dr. Sonja Cherry-Paul, a trailblazer in anti-racist literacy practices and education.
- Dr. Bettina L. Love, a renowned scholar and advocate for educational justice, whose inspiring work connects literacy to liberation.
As well as a broad range of engaging breakout sessions (including panels and case studies) tailored for practitioners and leaders, covering topics such as:
- Early childhood literacy development
- Dyslexia screeners, intervention, and strategies for support
- Multilingual learners and the science of reading
- MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support)
- Supporting struggling older readers
- Systems-level change management
