Organizational Management
- Systems reform for sustainable impact - Systems reform includes changes on many levels: the way services are delivered, the knowledge and skills of providers, the way community agencies work together, and the broader infrastructure that supports service delivery such as policy, accountability, funding and resources. Resisting short-term solutions to serve more children and families by funding agencies to do more of what they currently do.
- Professional Development - Developing strong and dynamic leadership with deep interest in creating change and innovation will be successful as it establishes credibility, trust, motivation and sustainability.
- Relationship Building/Partnerships - Under this approach, service provider staff work with other service provider partners, funding partners, as well as parents to develop long term relationships, support and expectations. Maintain strict confidentiality policy.
- Building Working Board of Directors - Build a Board with an eye on diversity. Incorporate committee structure i.e., program, development, advisory etc.
- Evaluation/Research - Perform high level and quality evaluation and reflection on an annual basis. Build a strong evaluation department with emphasis on in-depth and thoughtful research. Incorporate 360 feedback structure.
